SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 6, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bell Microproducts Inc. (Other OTC:BELM.PK - News), one of the world's largest value-added distributors of storage and computing technology, today announced that its Audit Committee has approved Deloitte & Touche LLP to serve as its independent registered public accounting firm. Deloitte & Touche replaces the Company's previous accountants, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Last week, the Company completed its previously-announced financial restatement and filed its 2006 Annual Report on Form 10-K.
