CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 22, 2009) - Black Diamond Income Fund (TSX:BDI.UN - News) and Fort Nelson First Nation (FNFN) to celebrate signing of limited partnership agreement and formation of Black Diamond Dene.

WHAT:   Ceremonial signing of an agreement that addresses resource
        development as well as other commercial and industrial activity in
        the Horn River Basin. North-eastern BC's Horn River Basin, believed
        to be North America's largest natural gas play, is located within
        FNFN's traditional and reserve lands

WHO:    Expected attendees include: 
        Chief, Councilors and Elders of the Fort Nelson First Nation
        Trevor Haynes, President & CEO of Black Diamond, company personnel
        Representatives of the Horn River Producers Group, BC Oil & Gas
        Commission and Fort Nelson Chamber of Commerce.

        way to actively participate in the future of our lands".

The new business venture will build upon (1) Black Diamond's expertise in providing remote workforce accommodation solutions, oilfield equipment & services and modular offices; (2) and the First Nation's location in Fort Nelson as well as their local knowledge of the Horn River Basin.
