Brightpoint board forms Strategy Committee that will set goals, review possible deals

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Cell phone distributor Brightpoint Inc. said Thursday its board formed a Strategy Committee to set goals and expectations for the company and review potential acquisitions or joint ventures.

The committee includes Kari-Pekka Wilska, who serves as chairman, and board members Robert J. Laikin and former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge.
