CSG Systems names new chairman
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) -- CSG Systems International Inc. said Tuesday that board member Don Reed has been elected chairman, a position he will assume Jan. 1 as part of the company's policy to rotate key board positions.
The company, which sells billing and customer-relationship services, said the current chairman, Bernie Reznicek, will remain on the board.
"Bernie has provided great leadership to CSG Systems for over 12 years on our board, including 4 years as chairman, and we are pleased that he will continue to serve on our board," Peter Kalan, the company's chief executive officer, said in a statement.
Reed has more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. In his most recent job, he served as CEO for Cable & Wireless Global.
