TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 11, 2009) - CHAMPION MINERALS INC. ("Champion" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CHM - News; FRANKFURT:P02 - News; WKN:A0LF1C) is pleased to announce that its shares have been accepted for listing and trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The Frankfurt symbol for Champion is P02 and the Wertpapierkennummer (WKN) is A0LF1C.

Due to the recent fundamental improvement in the global iron ore market, the Company embarked on a European and Dubai roadshow in order to present and elaborate on the advantages of iron ore resources in eastern Canada. As a result of positive interest, the Company elected to list on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
