China Housing to Host Annual General Meeting on October 30, 2009

XI'AN, China, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Housing & Land Development, Inc. ("China Housing" or the "Company", Nasdaq: CHLN) today announced that it will hold its Annual Meeting of Stockholders at 9:00 a.m. local time on October 30, 2009 at the Company's office, located at 6 Youyi Dong Lu, Han Yuan 4 Lou, Xi'an, Shaanxi Province 710054, P. R. China. Stockholders of record at the close of business on September 23, 2009 are invited to attend and to vote at the Annual Meeting and any adjournment.

At the Annual Meeting, management will discuss the Company's accomplishments, financial performance and business operations. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions about the Company and to meet certain directors and members of the management team. Additionally, shareholders will be asked to elect seven individuals to the Company's Board of Directors, ratify the selection of MSCM LLP, Certified Public Accountants as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2009, and transact other business as may properly come before the Annual Meeting.
