PALM CITY, Fla., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Connectyx Technologies Holdings Group, Inc. (Other OTC: CTYX - News) announced today that the Company has received an initial purchase order for its MedFlash product from Harris Teeter, Inc., a major supermarket chain headquartered in Matthews, N.C., whose stores include a pharmacy department.

The purchase order came through AmerisourceBergan, a comprehensive pharmaceutical services provider and one of Connectyx's newest distributors. The MedFlash product will initially be sold in all 118 Harris Teeter Stores with Pharmacy. Harris Teeter, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ruddick Corporation (NYSE: RDK - News), operates 188 stores in the eight-state area of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Maryland Delaware. The company also operates stores in the District of Columbia. Harris Teeter is the 36th largest supermarket in the United States with 2008 sales of $3.99 billion.
