Crosstex completes sale of gas treating business
Crosstex completes sale of natural gas treating business to Kinder Morgan Energy for $266M

DALLAS (AP) -- Natural gas company Crosstex Energy LP said Thursday it has completed the sale of the partnership's natural gas treating business to pipeline transportation and energy storage company Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP for roughly $266 million.
Crosstex will use the net proceeds from the transaction to pay down debt.
Goldman, Sachs & Co. served as financial adviser to Crosstex in connection with the transaction.
