DRC Awarded Additional $1.3 Million Under U.S. Army Training Task Order

Company Granted First Option Year to Continue Development of Training Courses

ANDOVER, Mass., April 9, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dynamics Research Corporation (NasdaqGM:DRCO - News), a leading provider of innovative management consulting, engineering, and information technology services and solutions to federal and state governments, today announced that the U.S. Army's Armor School and Center Directorate of Training, Doctrine, Combat Development and Experimentation has awarded DRC the first one-year option of the Heavy Brigade Combat Team (HBCT) task order valued at $1.3 million, expanding the scope of work from approximately $600 thousand for the base period of this three-year order. DRC will support the continued development and implementation of the Armor School's HBCT Tactical Leaders Course.

DRC will continue to develop lesson plans focused on Training Development support, and provide Mobile Training Team instruction to Operational Units. This task order facilitates the transition of Mobile Training Team instructors from Ft. Knox, Kentucky to Ft. Benning, Georgia, in the consolidation of the U.S. Army Armor and Infantry Schools into the Maneuver Center of Excellence.
