appointment:
Ms Femke Weijtens (41) at present Director External Relations at
Schretlen en Co N.V. (the Netherlands), will join DSM on 1 April 2009
and prepare for her new position as Corporate Secretary. She will
succeed Paul Fuchs, who retires with effect from 1 September 2009.
Femke Weijtens has a legal background and many years of experience as partner at a leading law firm in the Netherlands. She is specialized in corporate law.
Femke Weijtens will report to Feike Sijbesma, Chairman of the DSM Managing Board.
