NEW YORK, Dec. 16, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Customers booked on flights operated by Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL - News), Delta subsidiary Northwest Airlines or Delta Connection carriers to, from or through Northeastern cities currently impacted by winter storms may make adjustments to their travel schedule without penalty or fees, effective immediately.

Customers scheduled to travel Dec. 16 through Dec. 18 to, from or through the following locations may make a one-time change without penalty or additional fees if tickets are changed by Dec. 21.


 * Newark, N.J.
 * New York-JFK
 * New York-LaGuardia
 * Philadelphia
 * White Plains, N.Y.

Changes to origin and destination may result in a fare increase. Any fare difference between the original ticket and the new ticket will be collected at the time of rebooking. Travel must begin by Dec. 21, 2008. Customers whose flights are canceled may request refunds.
