Discovery Air Announces Appointment of Financial Officers

YELLOWKNIFE, NT, Nov. 5 /CNW/ - Discovery Air is pleased to announce the appointment of two key financial officers.

The Board has appointed Andy Min to the position of Chief Financial Officer and Rolf Dawson to the position of Vice President Corporate Finance and Administration. Both will be located at the new corporate office in Yellowknife, NWT.

"These appointments of Mr. Min and Mr. Dawson represent another important step in the development of Discovery Air," said David Jennings, President and CEO. "I am confident that Andy and Rolf will contribute to the strength and ultimate growth of Discovery Air.

Min is a chartered accountant and most recently served as the Assistant Vice President of Financial Reporting and Accounting for Discovery Air. Prior to joining Discovery Air, he was the Corporate Controller for The Franchise Company, a subsidiary of FirstService Corporation. "I'm excited to continue to be a part of Discovery Air's ongoing evolution and making a meaningful contribution in the implementation of our growth plan," said Min.

In his new role with Discovery Air Min succeeds Rick Jankura, who will continue on with the corporation for a transitionary period in a special projects/support capacity.

Dawson most recently served as Vice President of Market Development for Honeywell Global Finance LLC, where he focused on the development and delivery of financing solutions for Honeywell's aerospace business segment. He holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) degree from the University of Toronto as well as a BA in History from the University of Alberta.
