ANDOVER, Mass. (AP) -- Dynamics Research Corp., an information technology, engineering and consulting firm, said Friday it won contract worth up to $11.5 million to provide communications services for the Department of Defense.

The task order, awarded through a unit of the General Services Administration's Alliant contract, will allow Dynamics Research to provide writing, editing, video and Web development services to the Defense Department's Office of Public Communication.

The contract has a base period of three months and four one-year options.

Dynamics Research said the task order would help position the company for growth in the federal information technology market.
