Coal companies shares up at 10 a.m.

NEW YORK (AP) -- 

Shares of some top coal companies are up at 10 a.m.:
Arch Coal rose $.58 or 3.5 percent, to $16.97.
Consol Energy rose $1.18 or 4.1 percent, to $30.15.
Massey Energy rose $.40 or 2.8 percent, to $14.56.
Peabody Energy rose $.29 or 1.2 percent, to $24.77.
