Coal companies shares down at 10 a.m.

NEW YORK (AP) -- 

Shares of some top coal companies are down at 10 a.m.:
Arch Coal fell $1.26 or 7.3 percent, to $15.95.
Consol Energy fell $2.87 or 9.5 percent, to $27.33.
Massey Energy fell $1.03 or 7.1 percent, to $13.49.
Peabody Energy fell $1.68 or 6.5 percent, to $24.00.
