NEW YORK (AP) -- 

Shares of some top education companies are mixed at 10 a.m.:
Apollo Group fell $.29 or .5 percent, to $56.51.
Career Education rose $1.63 or 7.8 percent, to $22.41.
DeVry fell $.10 or .2 percent, to $54.86.
Strayer Education rose $.60 or .3 percent, to $199.16.
