Gold companies shares up at 10 a.m.

NEW YORK (AP) -- 

Shares of some top gold companies are up at 10 a.m.:
Barrick Gold rose $1.12 or 3.6 percent, to $32.26.
Gold Fields rose $.35 or 4.3 percent, to $8.49.
Goldcorp rose $1.00 or 4.0 percent, to $25.97.
Newmont Mining rose $.48 or 1.3 percent, to $36.39.
