Continued Focus on High-Efficiency Research Leads to Top 1000 Designation in European Union Industrial R&D Investment Scoreboard

DRAMMEN, NORWAY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eltek Valere today announced it has been named a top 1000 company in the European Union (EU) Industrial R&D Investment Scoreboard, produced annually by the EU Commission. The company is named in the Top 1000 list for companies with headquarters outside the European Union.

The product of collaboration between two Directorates General of the European Commission—the Joint Research Centre (DG-JRC) and Research (DG-RTD)—the EU Industrial R&D Investment Scoreboard provides an updated tool for comparisons among companies, sectors and geographical areas. It is published annually and offers a full picture of the competitive situation of EU firms in the global R&D environment.

Eltek Valere’s R&D efforts have led to it market leadership in high-efficiency DC power solutions, based on the company’s flagship Flatpack2 HE rectifier, which offers 96.5 percent efficiency for AC to DC power conversion.
