Enigmatec EMS v4 automates cloud resources for both private and public cloud environments.
LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Enigmatec Corporation Limited, the leader in enterprise data center automation today announced the latest release of its award winning IT process automation product, Execution Management System (EMS) version 4.
Building on the success with existing enterprise clients who use Enigmatec for multi-vendor heterogeneous automation, Execution Management System (EMS) version 4 now delivers the same level of dynamic IT provisioning and integration for public and private cloud environments. EMS version4 includes these new cloud computing features:
“We are very excited to announce this product to the market at a time when IT process automation is becoming increasingly important for cost savings and service levels for both the enterprise and the cloud,” said Pete O’Neill, CEO of Enigmatec. “The release of EMS version 4 represents a logical step forward for Enigmatec and builds on several years of success that we have gained from our existing global customers, some of whom are already using our product for delivering cost effective cloud services.”
At the core of EMS is the ability to automate the management and control of complex IT application environments. A powerful, distributed workflow platform enables rapid deployment of new automated workflows to reduce manual errors and ensure compliance and integrity. A unique service modelling capability makes infrastructure changes easy to manage and allows for repeatable process solutions to be defined and deployed quickly. Service availability and performance may be monitored against SLAs with automated corrective actions to avoid performance degradation and downtime.
“We continue to see increasing interest using run book automation tools as a foundation for automating the processes necessary to provision and change the IT infrastructure in cloud computing projects,” said David Williams, Research VP, Gartner. “RBA tools are considered ‘management fabric’ ensuring the cloud IT infrastructure is orchestrated in-line with service demand.”
Gartner forecasts that worldwide cloud services revenue is on pace to surpass $56.3 billion in 2009, a 21.3 percent increase from 2008 revenue of $46.4 billion. The market is expected to reach $150.1 billion in 2013. (Source: Gartner Says Worldwide Cloud Services Revenue Will Grow 21.3 Percent in 2009, March 26, 2009).
