Entegris prices public offering at $3.80 per share

Entegris public offering of 14 million shares prices at $3.80 each

CHASKA, Minn. (AP) -- Entegris Inc. said late Thursday its public offering of 14 million shares was priced at $3.80 per each.

The offering included an additional 2 million shares from the previously announced 12 million, the semiconductor systems maker said.

There is also an overallotment option for the underwriters to buy up to another 2.1 million shares within 30 days.

Entegris plans to use the proceeds to reduce its outstanding debt. The transaction is expected to close around Sept. 16.

Shares rose 8 cents, or 2 percent, to $4.04 in late morning trading.
