DALLAS, March 30, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Frozen Food Express Industries, Inc. (NasdaqGS:FFEX - News) announced today expansion of its regional service on the west coast. Beginning April 6, FFE will provide overnight and two day LTL service for intra-state California and two day service between the Pacific Northwest and California. The expansion is in response to customer demand for enhanced service options for temperature controlled LTL shipments moving between California and the Pacific Northwest on the I-5 corridor. ``We are pleased to be able to offer the same reliable service our customers have come to expect in this new market,'' said Joe Jaska, FFE Vice President of LTL Operations. ``Our expanded regional service coupled with the introduction of our on-line, real time shipment tracking function via the customer web portal will keep FFE the industry leader in full service temperature controlled LTL,'' Jaska continued.
