Internet Sensation Cindy Margolis Searches for Love In Network’s First Original Dating Series
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--She set world records, made hearts race with her Playboy cover at age 40, and now American icon Cindy Margolis is making the ultimate fantasy come true for her most devoted fans in the steamiest reality dating show ever, Fox Reality Channel’s newest original series, Seducing Cindy, premiering Saturday, January 30 at 9p/8c.
Cindy launched an Internet revolution by being the most downloaded woman on the Internet – as recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2000. She has also been a celebrity cover model for Playboy, played a Fembot in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and worked as a model on numerous campaigns. In addition to being a model, author, entrepreneur and actor, Cindy is a newly single mother of three, who hasn’t given up on finding true love.
“My fans have been incredibly loyal and supportive over the years, so I am taking the leap of faith that one of them could be the love of my life,” said Margolis. “I am ready to be swept off my feet.”
Over the course of eight, one-hour episodes, Cindy will open herself up to romance with men of all ages and from all walks of life in an effort to find her ultimate soul mate. Cindy’s suitors will offer her true variety and tough choices as they battle through competitive tasks and fight for her affection and a coveted garter belt off of her leg, signifying a chance to stay on Cindy’s list of potential mates.
“Seducing Cindy is Fox Reality Channel’s first original dating series and will take viewers on the unique, emotional and potentially intimidating journey of finding love over 40,” said Noel Siegel, VP of Development and Production for Fox Reality Channel. “Millions of men have downloaded Cindy Margolis photos, but we are giving a handful of them the rare opportunity to make a real connection and win her heart.”
Seducing Cindy is produced by Glassman Media.
“Cindy came to us and said she was at a crossroads in her life, was ready to fall in love again, but had forgotten ‘the rules’ of dating and wanted to try something extreme,” said series producer Andrew Glassman of Glassman Media. “She got that and much more -- her fans and longtime admirers arrived prepared to do anything imaginable, and fight with all their will, for the dream chance of Seducing Cindy.”
