NEW YORK (AP) -- 

Shares of some top airlines companies were mixed at the close of trading:
AMR rose $.13 or 2.3 percent, to $5.78.
AirTran rose $.03 or .6 percent, to $4.67.
Continental rose $.30 or 2.3 percent, to $13.07.
DeltaAir rose $.10 or 1.3 percent, to $7.89.
JetBlue fell $.04 or .8 percent, to $5.20.
Southwest rose $.41 or 4.7 percent, to $9.06.
UAL rose $.04 or .6 percent, to $7.00.
US Airways rose $.01 or .3 percent, to $3.20.
