Baxter International Inc. rose $1.09 or 1.5 percent, to $72.94.
Boston Scientific Corp. rose $.06 or .7 percent, to $9.10.
Johnson & Johnson rose $.64 or .7 percent, to $88.09.
Medtronic rose $.20 or .4 percent, to $49.84.
St. Jude Medical Inc. rose $.18 or .4 percent, to $47.00.
Stryker fell $.16 or .2 percent, to $68.90.
Zimmer Holdings Inc. fell $.28 or .3 percent, to $80.34.
