COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Sept. 14, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Should man just simply do what he or she is predestined to do? In the Bible, it's written that the Lord knows who a person is before he or she is even conceived. Every person one meets or needs or loves comes from God. That no matter what a person does, there's really no way of stopping the Lord's plan. And in Soul Mates, author Noeme Feliciano shares how she finally learned to accept God's plan for her-- including all the pains and troubles that came along with the rewards.

Soul Mates follows the author's emotional and spiritual journey, told in a stirring testimony. Some people wander through life ignoring their predestined paths. They wonder why things never work out the way they planned them to be. Others take detours down strange paths, either of ignorance or of arrogance. And the author is one of those reluctant children of God. She was a battered soul who has to embark on a ride to total awareness. Through this memoir, readers will see how the author finds the unconditional love and true friendship she so longs for.

This testimony of faith, love, and life is a touching true story that will let readers realize the destined route they have to take so they can finally reach and experience the immeasurable happiness and love they deserve.

Soul Mates will be featured in the American Association of School Librarians Book Exhibit in Charlotte, NC on November 5-8, 2009. For more information on this book, log on to www.Xlibris.com.

About the Author

Noeme Feliciano, known to her friends and family as "Mimi," is an Ex-Army Sergeant who has traveled the world and has seen it through eyes of wonder as a child does. She is a native New Yorker of Puerto Rican descent and the proud mother of one son and two daughters. She currently lives in Colorado Springs with her husband, Ricardo, and youngest daughter, Reyina. Being an avid student of English Literature, Bible Theology, and her belief in "You only live once, so do it well," push her to do her best to give readers a clearer view of the two worlds she has to live in: one is based on Christian beliefs and the other a secular world based on the laws of man. She meshes both worlds into stories, poetry, and true testimonies that have touched the hearts of many throughout her lifetime of travels and memories.

"To write one's adventures is to cleanse the mind, heart and soul; making the body pure for the Spirit to dwell," says author Noeme Feliciano.
