SYRACUSE, N.Y., July 16, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Anaren, Inc. (Nasdaq:ANEN - News) announced today that it has earned a place among Fortune Small Business (FSB) magazine's 2009 ranking of "America's 100 Hottest Small-Cap Companies." Anaren holds the 85th spot on the list, entering the list for the first time this year.

According to FSB, the magazine "ranked public companies with revenues of less than $200 million and a stock price of more than $1" and included in this list -- the magazine's 9th -- "the best of the best, measured by revenue growth and stock performance over the past three years." Total return to investors was calculated for the three-year period ended December 31, 2008.
