NEW BUFFALO, MI--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 7, 2009 -- Four Winds Casino Resort, the premier gaming destination in the Midwest, is pleased to announce that in 2008 it has awarded more than $2,000,000 to W Club Members through unique members-only W Club Jackpots, which are randomly awarded to players using their W Club card. Additionally, guests will have an opportunity to start 2009 with a chance to win a share of $100,000 during the month of January through the Winter Winnings promotion.

Four Winds Casino Resort will award $25,000 in cash on Friday, January 16 and Friday, January 30. Hourly cash drawings with prizes ranging between $1,000 and $2,000 begin at 4 p.m. Eastern each Friday, with a top award drawing at 9 p.m. for $10,000. On Sunday, January 18, the stakes are even higher as $5,000 will be awarded at Noon and the grand prize of $25,000 will be awarded to one lucky winner at 7 p.m. From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., there will be hourly cash drawings with prizes ranging between $1,000 and $2,000.

W Club members receive one free entry daily for the cash drawings at the W Club Players Club from Monday, January 5 to Friday, January 30. W Club Jackpots

During the month of December, over $118,000 was awarded to 36 W Club members through Four Winds Casino Resort's W Club Jackpots, which are randomly awarded to players using their W Club cards. One player won a Medium Jackpot, which must hit by $20,000; and 35 players won Small Jackpots, which must hit by $500. Additionally, Joy B. of Niles, Mich., won a BMW® X6. She elected to take the cash option worth $40,000.
