Galahad Metals Announces Private Placement

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - 07/21/09) - Galahad Metals Inc (TSX-V:GAX - News) Subject to regulatory acceptance, the Company is arranging a non-brokered private placement consisting of up to 3,000,000 units of the Company ("Units") at a price of $0.08 per Unit for gross proceeds of up to $240,000. Each Unit will consist of one common share of the Company and one common share purchase warrant. Each Warrant will entitle the holder thereof to acquire one common share of the Company for a period of 60 months at a price of $0.12 per common share.

The gross proceeds from the private placement will be used to advance development of the Montrose and Kellyn gold projects and to provide the Company with additional working capital.

All securities issued in connection with this financing will be subject to a four-month hold period.

The Company may pay a finders' fee of up to 5% of the gross proceeds in connection with a portion of the financing.
