The Gift Boxes can be purchased online and sent directly to a friend or family member. The gift recipient will then be able to fill the box with treasured photos, slides and negatives to be hand-scanned and digitally restored by ScanCafe's expert photo technicians, breathing new life into the past for the special people on Santa's list.

--  The purchaser completes an online form at http://www.scancafe.com, specifying
    the outbound and return addresses.
--  The recipient receives an empty box from ScanCafe with full
    instructions and a prepaid, pre-addressed envelope. He or she packs the box
    with slides, negatives and photos, slips it into the included pre-
    addressed, pre-paid envelope, and ships it back to ScanCafe by dropping it
    off at the nearest UPS Store or UPS drop-box.
--  The images will be scanned and restored by hand, then returned to the
    address the purchaser specifies, along with a DVD of the scanned and
    repaired images.

The gift boxes are available at a cost of $149.99. All photos are hand-scanned at 600 dpi and slides and negatives are hand-scanned at 3000 dpi -- the highest quality default resolution in the industry today -- suitable for a lifetime of sharing in photo books, slideshows, reprints and enlargements.
