Glimcher Names Ward A. Kampf Vice President, Leasing

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Glimcher Realty Trust (NYSE: GRT - News), one of the country's premier retail REITs today announced the appointment of Ward A. Kampf, as Vice President, Leasing, effective Wednesday, November 11, 2009.

Mr. Kampf most recently served as President, Retail Leasing for Thomas Enterprises, Inc., a Newman, GA based real estate company specializing in lifestyle centers as well as retail, hotel, residential and office developments. Mr. Kampf directed all aspects of retail leasing, including management of the leasing team, overseeing strategic merchandising plans, and reviewing new sites for development. Before joining Glimcher, Mr. Kampf held senior roles at Gap, Inc, General Growth Properties, and others.

Mr. Kampf is an active member of The Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He received dual Bachelor of Art degrees in marketing and history from Southern Methodist University.
