HOUSTON, Oct. 6, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:HCC - News) announced today that Paul A. "Tony" Yasilli, Jr. has been appointed as a Vice President and Regional Director of American Contractors Indemnity Company and U.S. Specialty Insurance Company, members of the HCC Surety Group.

Yasilli will lead a new office based in Addison, Texas focusing on contract, license and permit and court bond business in Texas and surrounding states. Yasilli and his team of underwriting and service professionals, including George M. Storm, bring more than 25 years of experience in the Texas surety marketplace. Yasilli holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. Storm holds a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.
