IGate names former head of Ginnie Mae to board

IGate names Murin, former head of Ginnie Mae, to board seat

FREMONT, Calif. (AP) -- Information technology and outsourcing company iGate Corp. named Joseph J. Murin, former head of Ginnie Mae, to its board Monday.

Murin, who left the government mortgage agency this month after just over a year on the job, will also serve on iGate's nominating and corporate governance committee.

Shares of iGate closed down 12 cents at $6.66 in trading Monday.
