PEMBROKE, BERMUDA--(MARKET WIRE)--Dec 1, 2008 -- IPC Holdings, Ltd. (NasdaqGS:IPCR - News) today announced the appointment of Mr. Michael J. Cascio, formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of Overseas Partners US Reinsurance Company Ltd., to the Board as of November 28, 2008. IPC's Chairman, Mr. Kenneth L. Hammond, welcomed Mr. Cascio to the Board.
IPC Holdings, Ltd., through its wholly-owned subsidiary IPCRe Limited, provides property catastrophe reinsurance and, to a limited extent, aviation, property-per-risk excess and other short-tail reinsurance on a worldwide basis.
