EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) -- One of Indiana's largest natural gas utilities predicts customers' bills in its largest service territory might be 25 percent to 30 percent lower this winter compared to the last one.
Vectren Corp. cites greater supplies and less demand for the lower costs.
The utility says the 568,000 natural gas customers in its service territory should see the savings if temperatures are normal this heating season.
The territory covers much of the middle of the state, from Allen, White and Tippecanoe counties in northern Indiana to Clark, Floyd and Jackson counties in the south.
