BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) -- InfoSpace Inc. said Monday it has named independent investor Braden Kelly to its board, bringing the total number of directors to nine.
Kelly is a senior adviser to Health Evolution Partners, a San Francisco private equity firm. He also serves on the board of edo Interactive Inc., a digital payment and marketing services developer.
Kelly has more than 17 years of experience in investment strategy and finance experience, the company said. He previously was with the General Atlantic LLC private equity firm and earlier worked at investment bank Morgan Stanley & Co. in its mergers, acquisitions and restructuring department.
Bellevue, Wash.-based InfoSpace's metasearch technology combines top results from other search engines at sites such as Dogpile, MetaCrawler and WebFetch.
Its shares closed Monday down 5 cents at $8.15.
