EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 24, 2009) - Innovotech (TSX VENTURE:IOT - News) - Media are invited to a press conference announcing a clinically-proven test of immense interest to the medical community and people everywhere dealing with chronic infections that are potentially life threatening.

The benefits of this test include reducing the incidents of resistance to antibiotics and savings to the health care system. It has received regulatory approval by Health Canada and has met all current standards of the Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) for reproducibility and consistency.
