HONOLULU, Sept. 3, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Xlibris, the leading print-on-demand self-publishing services provider, announces today the release of From the Master's Heart: Poems of Inspiration and Praise, an engaging book of poetry and faith authored by Norma Ching.

From the Master's Heart is an engaging fusion of Christian praise, astounding artwork and poetry that promises to give the reader an enlightening experience. Some of these literary pieces reflect the inspiration and praise the author received from the Holy Spirit through the years. Other poems illuminate the values that define humanity such as love, adoration, forgiveness, patience, patriotism, and more. Ultimately, this collection will remind readers that the Creator is watching and caring for them.

"Tender and powerful, sweet and strong, humble and bold. These writings not only reveal the heart of the Master, they also reveal the heart of the servant," said musician Leon Siu describing the book.

Filled with inspiration and insights, From the Master's Heart is highly recommended to devout Christians, literature enthusiasts, and people seeking comfort and strength. This release is an official entry at this year's California Library Association regional book exhibit, which will be held at Pasadena, CA, on October 31 to November 1, 2009. About the Author

Norma Ching was born and raised in Kona, Hawaii. Her father, Antone Texeira, was a well-respected principal of the school her whole family attended, and where they resided. Her mother, Evangeline, raised nine children, of which Norma Jane was the youngest. She spent twenty-five years with the Department of Education as a Kindergarten, first grade, and reading teacher. After marrying Wilfred Ching in 1956, she had four children, Mike, Lisa, Patrick, and Colette. In 1997, the author suffered a major stroke, and a year later survived brain surgery. Today she is totally healed and credits God's healing power for her full recovery. Throughout the years she received poems from the Holy Spirit that she collected and saved, writing each in a single sitting. The words just flowed.

The illustrator, Patrick Ching, Norma Ching's son, is a world-renowned wildlife and nature artist. His paintings complement the author's poems.
