WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On Sunday, October 25, Ixia will participate in the MPLS 2009 Public Interoperability Demonstration at booth #200, featuring technologies for:

• Resilient multiple MPLS transport
• Ethernet OAM
• Dynamic VPLS provider edge discovery

Ixia’s test platform and IxNetwork test application will demonstrate interoperability of MPLS routers, Carrier Ethernet routers and switches, and other networking equipment from major network equipment vendors including Alcatel-Lucent, Brocade Communications Systems, Cisco Systems, Hitachi, Ltd., IP Infusion, and Juniper Networks. In particular, Ixia’s platform will be used for:

• Carrier-class traffic validation. IxNetwork’s run-time drill-down facilities with multi-field tracking was used extensively during the hot-staging of the event.
• Virtual private network isolation.
• Network convergence time with Ixia’s TrueView™ technology.
