Jonathan Bornstein, Chivas USA and U.S. Men's National Team Defender, to Appear on Monday, September 21 Edition of 'Fox Football Fone-In'

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Chivas USA defender Jonathan Bornstein will join Fox Football Fone-In co-hosts Nick Webster and Eric Wynalda as the featured guest this Monday, Sept. 21 on Fox Soccer Channel’s weekly two-hour call-in show.

Bornstein will appear live in-studio to field calls from viewers during Fox Football Fone-In, which airs every Monday from 7-9:00 p.m. ET.

Bornstein and his Chivas USA teammates, currently battling for one of the final Major League Soccer Playoffs spots, will play their next two league matches live on Fox Soccer Channel. On Sept. 21, Chivas travels to the Seattle Sounders for an MLS Saturday on FSC showdown beginning at 2:30 p.m. ET, while on Sept. 28 they host the New York Red Bulls with live coverage starting at 10:00 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, Chivas USA will break from MLS play to take on Chivas de Guadalajara on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.

Bornstein, a native of Los Alamitos, Calif., is a three-time MLS All-Star (2007-09), and garnered the league’s Rookie of the Year award in 2006. He has also earned 22 caps for the U.S. Men’s National Team, including appearances in recent FIFA World Cup Qualifiers vs. Mexico and El Salvador as well as all five games of the Americans’ thrilling run to the FIFA Confederations Cup Final in June, 2009.
