LINDON, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Priddis Music, a major sponsor of KaraokeFest, recently awarded a full day of recording in the new Priddis Recording Studio, plus paid airfare, hotel and transportation, to two talented grand prize winners.

KaraokeFest, a yearly singing contest in the Southern California area, is an alternative to the popular American Idol. "It gives more people an opportunity to perform and compete," says Rick Priddis, President of Priddis Music. "This year we wanted to give a prize that really means something. Our new state-of-the-art studio has a castle motif, giving it that making-dreams-come-true sort of feel.” The studio seemed to have that effect on winner Clint Gamboa, who said, "When we arrived at the recording studio my jaw dropped. This is one of the most amazing recording studios I have ever seen." Winner Kelly Lynn Harris agreed that "getting to record at the Priddis Recording Studio was unbelievable. I felt like a rock star!" While the studio is used mostly for making Priddis’ own karaoke-style recordings, it is often hired out by singers like Clint and Kelly for their own projects. Clint and Kelly had full access to the 3,000 performance tracks in Priddis' catalog for their recording sessions.

Priddis Music has been making "karaoke" performance music for 25 years but has recently undergone major changes. “We sponsored KaraokeFest so people will know we are still here,” says Priddis.
