(AMEX/TSX: MCZ), a leading third-party interactive entertainment accessory provider, announced today that it has signed a multi-year licensing agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. (“SCEA”). Pursuant to the agreement, Mad Catz has North American rights to manufacture, market, and sell wireless Rock Band®-compatible Fender™ American Precision Bass™ replica, Fender Telecaster™ replica and Fender full-size, wooden Stratocaster™ guitar controllers for the PlayStation® 3 computer entertainment system.
