Internet Investor Brings Venture and Domain Expertise
MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mayfield Fund today announced the expansion of its team, with the addition of Emily Melton as Partner. Melton will focus on investing in the consumer Internet sector and work closely with Managing Directors Raj Kapoor, Navin Chaddha and Yogen Dalal.
Melton comes to Mayfield Fund from Draper Fisher Jurvetson, which she joined in 2000 and where she served as Director focusing on Internet, mobile and consumer-oriented technologies. A few of her notable investments include MyShape, Meebo, Redfin, Ruba and ShareThis. Melton holds a BA with honors and distinction in Political Philosophy and an MBA, both from Stanford University.
