DENVER, CO, Oct. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (NYSE and TSX: RBA - News News), the world's largest industrial auctioneer, will be selling unused and late model crawler and rough terrain cranes along with more than 700 other equipment and transportation items in an upcoming multi-million dollar, unreserved industrial public auction at the Company's permanent auction site in Denver, Colorado on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 starting at 8:00 a.m. (local time). Every item will be sold to the highest bidder on auction day, with no minimum bids or reserve prices.

One of three late model self-erecting crawler cranes being sold in the October 20th Denver auction includes an unused 2008 Manitowoc 14000 220-ton. The crane comes with a full factory warranty and has never even been put into service. The auction will also feature a large grouping of late model rough terrain cranes by Grove, including a 2006 Grove RT9130E 130-ton crane and a 2008 Grove RT890E 90-ton 4X4X4 crane.

Other cranes being sold in the auction include hydraulic truck, all-terrain, conventional truck and carry deck cranes. In addition, the sale will also feature multiple items of construction and transportation equipment: 20 wheel loaders, close to 20 loader backhoes, more than 15 motor graders, nearly 40 pickup trucks and 25 flatbed trucks.
