Mercury General declares dividend of 59 cents

Mercury General declares penny hike in quarterly dividend to 59 cents, payable Dec. 30

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Mercury General Corp. on Monday said its board declared a quarterly dividend of 59 cents, up a penny above the prior year's payout.

The auto and home insurer said the dividend is payable Dec. 30 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 16.
