Meridian Expands in the Scandinavian Market

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 19, 2009 -- Meridian Co., Ltd. (OTC BB:MRDAF.OB - News), an industry leader in the research, development, manufacturing and sales of integrative medical equipment, is pleased to announce that it has signed an exclusive contract with Sweden based Aesthetic DERMA PRO ("Aesthetic") for the marketing and sales of Meridian's LAPEX 2000 BCS in Scandinavian countries.

The contract outlines that Aesthetic has been granted a one year exclusive license to market the LAPEX 2000 BCS series in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Aesthetic is engaged in the business of the sale and distribution of specialty medical devices and related products in these countries.

Meridian signed a similar contract for 2 years with Estetik Media International for sales of the product in Romania last September.
