NEW YORK (AP) -- 

Shares of some top biotechnology companies are up at noon:
Amgen rose $.45 or .8 percent, to $54.50.
Biogen Idec rose $.48 or 1.1 percent, to $44.87.
Celgene rose $.93 or 1.8 percent, to $52.76.
Gilead Sciences rose $.53 or 1.2 percent, to $46.03.
