Coal companies shares up at noon

NEW YORK (AP) -- 

Shares of some top coal companies are up at noon:
Arch Coal rose $.75 or 4.6 percent, to $17.14.
Consol Energy rose $1.37 or 4.7 percent, to $30.34.
Massey Energy rose $.23 or 1.6 percent, to $14.39.
Peabody Energy rose $.79 or 3.2 percent, to $25.27.
