Coal companies shares down at noon

NEW YORK (AP) -- 

Shares of some top coal companies are down at noon:
Arch Coal fell $1.20 or 7.0 percent, to $16.01.
Consol Energy fell $2.86 or 9.5 percent, to $27.34.
Massey Energy fell $.86 or 5.9 percent, to $13.66.
Peabody Energy fell $2.27 or 8.8 percent, to $23.41.
