Gold companies shares mixed at noon

NEW YORK (AP) -- 

Shares of some top gold companies are mixed at noon:
Barrick Gold rose $1.45 or 4.7 percent, to $32.59.
Gold Fields rose $.18 or 2.2 percent, to $8.32.
Goldcorp rose $.83 or 3.3 percent, to $25.80.
Newmont Mining fell $.19 or .5 percent, to $35.73.
