NEW YORK (AP) -- 

Shares of some top utilities companies are down at noon:
AEP fell $.34 or 1.1 percent, to $31.61.
ConEd fell $.25 or .6 percent, to $41.10.
Duke Energy fell $.02 or .1 percent, to $15.73.
Pepco Holdings fell $.03 or .2 percent, to $15.22.
Southern Co fell $.26 or .8 percent, to $31.78.
